Latin for "to achieve your mission," Victura Communications started helping clients do just that in 2014. We have a combined 35 years of experience and devote 100% of our time to helping nonprofit and philanthropic clients be more successful. We've worked with a wide range of sectors, including environmental, social justice, public health, and community organizations. You can count on us to bring a sense of humor to our work, and often snacks as well.

Our team

Susie Seidelman


Susie Seidelman

Susie Seidelman is the Director of Victura Communications. She has over a dozen years of experience working closely with nonprofits and foundations to understand their communications needs, craft goals and strategic plans to meet them, and execute that strategy to align messaging across platforms. Susie builds capacity within organizations, ensuring they have the skills and tools needed to do their best communications work, and trains organizations to use these tools to greatest effect.

Prior to her time at Victura, Susie worked in organizational and communications capacities with The Johnson Foundation at Wingspread, the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, Wisconsin Public Radio, and the City of Milwaukee Election Commission.  She received her BA from Oberlin College and her MA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  She was a PLACES Fellow with the Funders’ Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities in 2013, and a Leadership Advanced Fellow in 2016. She's served on numerous nonprofit boards and plays an active role in her community. In her spare time, she likes to cook, eat, learn about cooking, talk about eating, and generally spend as much time as possible enjoying the great outdoors with friends and family. She lives with her wife, Laura, and their dog and cat, Maury and Captain, on the sunny shores of Lake Michigan.


Assistant director

Jorna Taylor

Jorna Taylor is the Assistant Director of Victura Communications. She is a skilled marketer and fundraiser and has over 20 years of experience running (and winning) nonprofit and political campaigns across the nation. Over the past decade, she's tapped into her vast network of political and community leaders and devoted much of her time to advocacy and nonpartisan citizen engagement. Jorna's work positions clients as go-to thought leaders whose opinions are valued by policy makers and community leaders most important to their missions. 

Jorna attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and serves on several nonprofit boards. In her free time, she enjoys the burgeoning indie music scene in Milwaukee and attending music festivals around the country. She can often be found catering to the every whims of her horses, Jorge and Reno, and her Jack Russell, Bones.
